The Matchbox #30 8 Wheel Crane Truck was first released in 1965 and can be found in about 4 different variations, including different shades of green with an orange boom and black plastic wheels; or red with an orange or gold boom and Superfast wheels. I already have one of these in my collection, but this example of the green with orange boom and black plastic wheels – another score from my Wichita eBay friend – is a little bit of an upgrade.
While the crane arm on the Matchbox 8 Wheel Crane Truck is vertically fixed and does not raise up or down, it does swivel from side to side.
