The Matchbox Maxi Taxi is a Rolamatics model based on the Ford Capri casting (originally released in 1971). It features an engine that bounces up and down as the car moves. The Rolamatics version was also produced without the Taxi livery and called Hot Rocker. Despite the loose motor mounts, this is another really fun find from the eBay collection of the Crafter’s Son.
